COMMISSIONER Western Commander Joeli Cawaki will open an Information Exposition for retirees at Lautoka's Shirley Park tomorrow.

Jointly organised by the Public Service Commission and Westpac Banking Corporation, stakeholders from government and the private sector will showcase their services to the public.

There will also be information available on how best retirees can utilise their skills and experience gained prior to their retirement.

Career talk

STUDENTS and employers in the Western Division had a successful talk on career and job prospects for fresh graduates at a University of the South Pacific-organised Lautoka Campus Careers Session.

The primary purpose of the event was to get together prospective employers and tertiary and senior secondary school students to discuss career opportunities and the levels of qualification required by different jobs and professions.

A-G's conference

THE two-day 14th Attorney-General's Conference will be held at the InterContinental Fiji Golf and Spa at Natadola today and Saturday.

Some of the issues to be discussed at the annual event are the constitution and constitutionalism, inter-country adoption and law reform, the regulation of professional conduct, new company laws and improving land registration system and procedures.
