MISS Fiji Drue Slatter will speak on education when the first of the judging events takes place tomorrow at the 2012 Miss South Pacific Pageant.
Each of the 10 contestants chose a topic on Tuesday for the Research Topic category, one of the pageant's five judging events.
"Drue is a good public speaker and she loves the topic that she chose," said Aqela Cakobau, her chaperone in American Samoa.
"Despite the hectic schedule of the pageant, she has made sure she has time to do her research well so she can put it across well, not only to the judges but also to the whole Pacific." She said Miss Slatter had good support from the Fijian community in Pagopago.
"She's blessed to have her reign as Miss Fiji in the Miss South Pacific in American Samoa because of the big Fijian community here," Ms Cakobau said.
