GOLF

Ladies

THE Fiji Golf Club Ladies are holding their closing day competition today. It is a 4BBB Individual Stableford Competition. The competition is sponsored by Coca Cola Amatil (Fiji) Ltd. There are great prizes to be won. Prizes are to be awarded for 1st to 5th places with NTPs on all Par 3s. Registration is at 11.30am. Tee-off from 12.30pm. Prize-giving at 5.30pm. Finger food will be served during prize giving. All men are welcome to play. Men are encouraged to find a lady partner but if no lady is available they may have a man partner. Nadroga

ALL club managers and coach are to attend a briefing and meeting on Thursday at VIP Lounge from 7pm-9pm. Moape Vu will conduct the briefing. RUGBY

THE Airport Rugby sevens tournament will be at Natally Grounds on December 8. Registration fee is $150 and the winner gets $1000. Runner-up wins $500 while losing semi-finalists gets $250 each.Only the first 20teams will be accommodated. Contact Jeff Tamata 9702216 or Simi Kuruvoli 9407574.

AOG Fellowship 7s

THE AOG Men's Fellowship 7s tournament will be played at the Koronivia FNU grounds on December 7-8. Thirty-two teams will be accommodated. Registration fees $100. A volleyball and netball tournament will also be hosted and only 20 teams will be accommodated for both sports at $40 per team. Contact Rev Rayawa 7774507 or Pastor Paula 9880275.

Bure Ambassador 7s

THE tournament will be held on December 22 at Suva Grammar School grounds. Entry fee is $250, only 40 teams will be accepted. Cup winner gets $2500 prizemoney and Lei Namolibale Trophy, runner-up $1000 and losing semi-finalists gets $250 each. Plate winner gets $500, runner-up $400 and semi-finalists $200 each. Bowl winner gets $400, runner-up $300 and semi-finalists $150 each. Shield winner will get $300 while the runner-up $200. Registration closes on December 20 and deposit amount of $100 is acceptable. THE Fiji Rugby Union will be running IRB Strength & Conditioning Level 1 Courses at the dates and venues outlined below.

Target Group — Primary & Secondary School teachers actively involved in schools rugby.

Pre-requisites

All participants are required to complete & bring along to the course the following pre-course requirements:

n Completion of Online IRB Strength &Conditioning Level 1 Certificate

n Completion of Online Rugby Ready Certificate

This is to ensure that all participants have undertaken readings and acquired an acceptable level of understanding of the course material prior to attending the face to face course. Participation in the course would only be permitted on presenting the above prior to registration. Course fees - $20 (Covering meals & refreshments, administration costs). Clothing - all participants required to attend the course in appropriate gear for learning & practical physical activities. All participants are to be at the designated course venues by 8:30am for registration purposes.
