ONLY players who attend training will be chosen to play for the Navua soccer side in the 2012/2013 season.
That was the message from team director Pravin Chand as Navua attempts to begin their season on a high note.
He said their first two matches of the National Football League is on December 15 and 16 against Labasa and Savusavu respectively and their training begins today.
"The games are only two weeks away and that is why we would like to start our training now so that we are ready to play," Chand said.
"Training starts tomorrow (today) at the Vashist Muni College grounds from 5pm and we would like to remind the players that only those who regularly attend training will be selected to play," he said.
The Fair Trade Auto boss said fitness would be main area of concern and that was something they will address during training.
"We all know that the NFL games will be 90 minutes and fitness is very important.
"We also know that fitness cannot be gained in two weeks but we will do the best we can and for that we require commitment from players.
"Also we had asked them to do their personal training as well so that they are ready for team training sessions."
Chand has asked the Navua community to get behind the team and support them for the new season.
