Appeal dismissed

THE Fiji Court of Appeal has dismissed an application pending an appeal made by Muskaan Balagaan yesterday.

Balagaan was charged and convicted with attempting to export an illicit drug namely cocaine and unlawful possession of the same illicit drug.

The matter was called before High Court judge Justice William Calanchini where he ruled that none of the grounds, which the accused filed her application on, satisfied the court.
