Show pleases rugby league duo

AUSTRALIAN rugby league legends Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler say they were happy to be part of this year's Style Fiji fashion show organised by Project Bula Mai.

The duo auctioned two 2013 National Rugby League grand final tickets during the fashion show held at Sheraton Fiji Resort on Saturday night, with the money raised going towards the renovation of the Nadi Hospital.

"Tonight (Saturday)means a lot to us and it's an honour for myself and Brad to come here and help raise money," the twice Golden Boot Award winner said.

"Brad got two tickets for next year's NRL final which was auctioned during the night hoping it would help someone's Life," the former Newcastle Knights player said.

Mr Johns said another reason they accepted the invitation was because of their friendship with Fijians playing rugby league in Australia.

"We love Fiji that is why we are here," he said.
