Face of freedom
There's a reason they call it an icon. Jeep Wrangler's signature seven—slot grille and round headlamps are recognized the world over. The original 4x4 freedom machine has a classic design that never goes out of style.
Fun and freedom go hand in hand in the Jeep® Wrangler - the only 4x4 convertible with a unique, open-air design that intensifies the off-road outdoor experience.Go anywhere! Do anything!
Wrangler Rubicon has earned its bragging rights (as if it needs any): Most traction of any Wrangler ever, Best-in-Class water fording capability - through up to 30 inches of water, and Best-in-Class turning diameter .
Sway bar disconnect
This system allows you, by the flip of a switch, to automatically disengage the sway bar when driving under 18 mph in 4LO mode. The front wheels can then drop and compress up to 22 percent further on Wrangler Rubicon.
Rubicon has Best-in-Class ground clearance along with Best-in-Class approach and departure angles. The front air dam is removable to provide added flexibility (better approach angle) when off-roading.
Diffs & shocks
Wrangler Rubicon offers tuneable monotube shock absorbers which feature low speed tunable valve technology that's firm on the rocks and relaxed at higher speeds. Front and rear Tru-Lok® locking differentials offer the ultimate in traction.
Before a Jeep 4x4 is worthy of our name, we test it on some of the toughest off-road areas in the world, including Moab and the famed Rubicon Trail. There are two Trail Rated® 4WD systems to choose from: the tough-as-nails Command-Trac® and made-for-mountains Rock—Trac
Legendary 4x4 capability
We weren't surprised in the least at the latest award from Four Wheeler magazine. Jeep vehicle capability is legendary - the culmination of more than 70 years of experience and real-world testing. 4x4 mastery has always been the cornerstone of the Jeep brand.
