Enforcers on festive watch

Salaseini Vosamana
Wednesday, November 28, 2012

THE Land Transport Authority plans to beef-up its presence on the roads and increase community outreach programs in the Northern Division as the festive season approaches.

LTA chief executive officer Naisa Tuinaceva said people should expect to see more enforcement officers and LTA patrol vehicles in the hope of controlling accidents as the year draws to an end.

"There will be more mobility of people because of the school holidays and the authority wants to ensure that people enjoy their festive season but at the same time ensure that all road safety regulations are adhered to," he said.
