Oh takes out Korean Air Bula Golf

SANG Sik Oh took out the 2012 Korean Air Bula Golf Championship at the Denarau Golf and Racquet in Nadi yesterday.

Oh won the overall gross title. He scored 79 edging out Neil Stokes on a countback.

Stokes collected the overall nett prize. He scored 66. Nor Azam Idruz was second with 67. The Malaysian High Commissioner beat Beng Huat Ung on a countback.

Mary Lowing won the ladies nett title. Lowing scored 68. Paula Greenville was second with 69 while Doctor Sereima Bale carded 71 to claim third sport.

Richard Kwon and Byeong Cheul Jin won the nearest-to-the-in prizes. Minister for Youth and Sports Viliame Naupoto was judged best dressed male while the US ambassador Frankie Reed won the best dressed lady prize.

Sixty golfers participated in the one-day 18-hole stroke event.

The President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, also took part.
