Sabha: Hope after coup

THE Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has labelled the 2013 National Budget as the best ever for the country.

Sabha national secretary Vijendra Prakash said the budget was inclusive of better opportunities that would enable Fijians to grow and live happily.

"The budget will help restore confidence among citizens who were losing hope since 1987 coup and investment will continue to increase," he said.

Mr Prakash said the visionary provision in the budget for everyone in Fiji had created history.

"Continuation of bus fare, tuition, text books assistance, inclusion of State pension, increasing social welfare assistance and dynamic approach undertaken to develop the nation towards brighter future for everyone is appreciated by the Sabha."
