THE first two major tournaments of the new Fiji Football Association season will be played over 90 minutes.

These are the Fiji FACT and the Battle of the Giants next year.

The first two rounds of the Fiji FACT will be held at Subrail Park in Labasa. The tournament proper will then move to Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

The first two rounds of the Battle of the Giants are scheduled to be held at Govind Park in Ba while the remainder of the tournament will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said only the top eight teams in the National Football League would participate in the two tournaments.

He said the cut-off dates for the top eight qualifiers would be announced later.

The IDC will be played over 60 minutes. The tournament will be held Churchill Park in Lautoka.
