Location suitable for supermodel pageant

LOGISTICS was something that organisers of the Miss World Supermodel Pageant had to look into when choosing the location for the beauty pageant this year.

World Supermodel Pageant director of locations Herc Karakostas said they had to choose a good location which was easy for the models and was close to Suva.

"For last year we had the event at Amanuca Island Resort and Spa, so we wanted something different," Mr Karakostas said.

"The Pearl South Pacific Resort and Spa is beautiful and is a resort that is located close to the capital and best cultural sites too.

"We are not to sure about next year whether we will have it close to Suva or at an outer island resort again."

Mr Karakostas said they wanted a location which was close to the people because they wanted the supermodels to have more exposure during their stay in Fiji.
