Tiny graduates

Salaseini Vosamana
Thursday, November 22, 2012

ELEGANTLY dressed in brown gowns, preschoolers of Shree Guru Nanak Kindergarten School in Labasa were all smiles as they waved their certificates in the air after their graduation yesterday.

They performed special items for their parents and invited guests and bid farewell to preschool life before joining primary school next year.

Chief guest Vijay Venkatappa encouraged the students to pursue their creativity.

"You will be entering a world of test with strict standards and as you get older, your classes will become more rigid, structured and strict," Ms Venkatappa said.

"Do whatever you can to be creative in your work and pursue your natural curiosity as it will boost your academic performance."
