Champion versus Champion

THE inaugural National Golf Association of Fiji's Champion versus Champion 54-hole tournament will be from December 1-2. The first 18 holes will be held in Natadola and the final 36 to be played at the Nadi Airport Golf Club. $100 entry fee includes lunch on both days. Those wanting to play 18 holes at NAGC the entry fee is $20 and includes lunch. Contact: Amitesh Chandra on 9923191.


THE Korean Golf 18-hole stroke event will be held at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club on Saturday. Registration fee is $110 which includes green fee, shared cart and lunch. Tee off at 9am. Shotgun Start.


THE 81st Lautoka Open Golf Championship sponsored by Sigatoka Motor Spares Ltd in association with Islands Electric Wholesalers and Islands Refrigeration and Electrical Wholesalers Ltd will be staged over 27 holes on Saturday. Registration fee is $30 which includes T-shirt, lunch and giveaways. Entry limited to 80 players. No late entries will be accepted. Provincial Games

ALL those interested in representing their province in the 2012 Provincial Games Netball Tournament on Friday and Saturday are to contact the Fiji Sports Council on 3312177 or 9928514 for registration.


KNOCKOUT tournament will be held on November 29-30 at Lawaqa Ground Two at 8am. Interested teams are welcome to register by November 26. THE Airport rugby sevens tournament will be held at Nayally grounds on December 1. Registration fee is $150. Winner receives $1000, runners up $500 and losing semi-finalists $250 each. First 16 teams will be accommodated. Contact Jeff 9702216 or Simi 9407574.

Bure 7s

THE tournament will be held on Saturday at Suva Primary School grounds. 32 teams will be accommodated. Registration fee is $150. Cup winner receives $1000 , runner-up $500, semi-finalist $75 each, Plate winner $300, Plate runner-up $200, Bowl winner $200, Bowl runner-up $150 and Bowl semi-finalists $50 each. Burebasaga 7s

THE Burebasaga District School 7s will be held at the school grounds in Rewa on November 30 to December 1. Registration fee is $160. First 32 teams will be accommodated. Closing date for registration is November 26. Cup winner gets $1,200 while the runners-up pocket $500. Other prizes will be at stake as well. THE NewWorld Rewa Delta 7s will be held on December 7 to 8 at Burebasaga District grounds. Entry fee is $190. Winner receives $2000 and runner-up $1000. 32 teams will be accommodated. Under-16 and U18 competitions will also be held. Entry fee is $100 and prizemoney $500. Registration closes on December 2. CBM Vancouver

THE CBM Vancouver 7s will be held at Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu starting tomorrow. Registration is $400. A total prizemoney of $20,000 is at stake. Winner gets $10,000, runners-up $2500, losing semi-finalists $500 each, Plate winner $2000, Plate runner-up $1200, losing semi-finalists $400 each, Bowl winner $1,000, Bowl runners-up $600, Shield winner $500 and Shield runner-up $400. THE Lami Carnival Volleyball tournament will be held from December 5-8. Games will be held from 3pm to 7pm daily. Registration fee is men $20, women $10 which closes on December 05 at 3pm. Affiliated clubs are reminded that the $80 fee for the season is due on December 1. Nomination forms for the AGM will be available on Saturday at the grounds and clubs official are to collect them from Kali, Ben or Maika and returned for verification by December 5. Forms received after this date will not be considered.


THE Topline Open Championship will be held at the multipurpose courts in Lautoka on November 23-24. Entry fee is $90. $500 prizemoney for men's, women's and mixed categories. First 50 teams will be accommodated. Entries close tomorrow. Contact: Tubuna 9966871.

Tailevu North

TNRL men's volleyball tournament will be held on December 1 at Sila Central High School hard courts. Fee is $80 per team. Winner gets $300 and runners up $200 and losing quarter-finalists $50 each. Call 9716 035 for more information.


THE first meeting for the Vulaca championship is schedule for tomorrow at 5.30pm at the FASANOC board room. All participating associations are to send a rep.
