Government tours islands in the north

GALOA Island in Bua on Vanua Levu was also part of the islands visited through a recent tour by the heads of government department in the north.

The island friendly flare continued to reign at the village green as the Caucau ni Delai Seatura band took over the entertainment after formal talks and discussions.

Government officials travelling from Suva had a first-hand experience of the island's bula spirit and reception in Galoa.

The tour was a chance for the government team to learn of the hardships and needs of islanders, and at the same time find remedies to problems they faced.
