Lack of leaders

Salaseini Vosamana
Wednesday, November 21, 2012

THE occurrence of violence, abuse and peer pressure has continued to hinder youth development in our society, says National Youth Council chairman Usaia Moli.

Mr Moli said there were also not enough leaders or mentors available to lead youths in the right direction.

He made the comment at the pre-annual general meeting in Labasa yesterday.

"We are trying to develop and empower youth so their voices and opinions are not only heard but recognised as well," he said.
