NAPLES, Florida — Karrie Webb finished fourth as South Korea's Na Yeon Choi capped her outstanding 2012 LPGA Tour campaign with victory in the season-ending Titleholders tournament in Florida.
Choi shot a closing two-under-par 70 to finish at 14-under 274 and win by two strokes from fellow South Korean So Yeon Ryu on Sunday.
Her second victory of the year, after a triumph in the US Women's Open, was worth $US500,000 ($F925,000) and took her total prize money for the campaign to $US1.9 million ($F3.4 million).
Ryu, who had already locked up Rookie of the Year honours, fell out of a tie for the lead with a three-putt bogey on the par-five 14th as she settled for a 70, two clear of third-placed Brittany Lincicome (70).
Australian great Webb rounded out a winless but profitable 17th season on the tour with a 69 to be outright fourth on 278, one ahead of Ai Miyazato of Japan (74).
South Korean Inbee Park finished with a share of 11th place to secure the LPGA money title and the Vare Trophy for lowest scoring average.
Stacy Lewis, the first US player to claim Player of the Year honours since Beth Daniel in 1994, finished equal 29th.
