POLICE are confident of making arrests as the net closes in on the three Nadi escapees.

Chief of operations Assistant Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu said police were working round-the-clock to apprehend the trio.

"We have a few leads that we are following and we hope to make an arrest soon in terms of the three that are at large," he said.

"I can confirm we are in pursuit and have just received fresh information regarding the escapees and the mission for us is to recapture them immediately before they commit any other offences."
