THE Nadi Homemaker Shop, located at Nadi Back Rd has a wide range of new furniture that cannot be found in other MH shops around the country. Nadi Homemaker, Back Rd is the biggest MH shop in Nadi. The new Homemaker offers a combined space of 20,000 square feet on two floors of retail shopping. "The furniture that we have is exclusive only to us; none of the other MH shops have them. This is because we are targeting the hotel and resort industry. They have an advantage with us because not only are our furniture new and not found anywhere else, we also offer affordable prices," Ritesh Naicker, the store manager said.

The first floor sells furniture and a large number of variety items which includes carpets and rugs, home and kitchen ware, linen and toys and Carpenters Hardware. They also have a model two bedroom house inside the first floor that also has a dining room, kitchen and bathroom. "The model house, a first of its kind for a MH shop is basically used to give people a fair idea of what it is they would want for their homes," Mr Naicker said. "It's a great concept and customers will find it very helpful." The second floor has the audio and electrical section. Some variety items are also on the second floor with Vodafone, Daltron and Carpenters Finance. They also have a large section of toys to excite the little ones. Future plans for MH Back Rd include a restaurant that will be built on the roof next year. There are also plans to have a large agriculture department to cater for farmers in the west. The 23 staff members at MH Back Rd are all specially trained and experienced, ready to serve their customers. They also have a full time backā€”up customer care service that responds to customers who want repairs or issues with their purchases. The shop is fully air conditioned and safe with four security guards on watch.

"This is the biggest homemaker shop in Nadi and I am proud to be given this trust from the management to look after the shop. Response from customers has been good, they are really happy they don't have to travel all the way to Nadi Town to pay their electricity or water bills," Mr Naicker said.

MH Back Rd opens from Monday to Saturday from 9am - 6pm and on Sunday's from 9am - 2pm.
