MORRIS Hedstrom Homemaker has a new outlet in Nadi aimed to bring more life to the Nadi Back Rd area. The store, located at the Nadi Back Rd is the 17th outlet of the Homemaker franchise and provides the ultimate shopping experience.

MH director retail and marketing Kunaseelan Sabaratnam said the reason the stores were so popular was that it had an effectively combined luxury with practicality.

He said these offered homeowners a wide choice of products that addressed many of their needs for every room in the house. Mr Sabaratnam said the new Homemaker offered a combined space of 20,000 square feet on two floors of retail shopping. Aside from its traditional choice of goods, it also features a 'concept house'. Mr Sabaratnam said this was to ensure that the display was attractive and would entice customers.

"This has been designed to 50 square metres, or the approximate size of a small home, to show customers how products can be attractively combined to work in smaller spaces," he said. He said MH continued to provide an extensive shopping experience that included furniture, white goods, hardware, electronics, homeware and computers.

He said that with a special emphasis on the growing popularity of home entertainment centres the company also focused around "state—of— the— art television and stereo systems."
