Team rebuilds for clash

THE Tailevu Naitasiri side is hoping to rebuild momentum ahead of their 2012 Fiji Football Association promotion/relegation series against Savusavu.

The Tagi Vonolagi coached side will host the first match this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Tailevu Football Association president Sundeep Roy said they were gunning for a win.

The side resumed training yesterday after the players were given time off to celebrate Diwali with their families.

"The reason we are saying we want to win this match is because we have not beaten Savusavu since 2008," Roy said.

"We beat them in the pool stages of the IDC in that year and from then on we lost to them in all our games in 2009 and 2010 until they got promoted," he said.

The match will kick off at 3pm.
