Vuda Green continue winning form

FRESH from winning the 2012 Lautoka Rugby Union knockout competition last week, Vuda Green have set their sights on lifting the Adi Salusalu 7s title today.

The Vuda Green side put on a blistering performance in the pool stages winning all three games without conceding any points at Nadovu grounds in Lautoka yesterday.

Vuda Green defeated Lions Rugby One 12-0, Korovuto 19-0 and Rangers 14-0 to qualify for the eliminations.

Wardens, Yalobi, Amanuca, Brisco, Draulu, Rangers, Tropik Wood, Botaira Stingers, Drola Babas, Vaturu Babas, Batiri, Police Suva, Likuliku Babas, Treasure Pirates, Noi Toga, Wadigi Babas Two, Vio and Vuda Blues all qualified for the eliminations.

The two top teams from the 16 pools will feature in the first eliminations.

A second elimination will be held to determine the quarter-finalists for the main division.

The winner of the main division final will walk away with $4000 while the runner-up will get $1500.

The eliminations will be held at Nadovu Park before the tournament proper shifts to Churchill Park for the quarter-finals today.
