FIFTEEN women living with disabilities graduated from the Fiji National Council for Disabled Persons yesterday.
The women graduated after three months training in sewing clothes and screen-printing.
FNCDP executive officer Kush Prasad said the training was to make women living with disabilities self-sufficient.
Ms Prasad said they provided the women with the platform to upskill themselves so that they were not left out in their community.
"We also assess their performance during the three months training and recommend them to potential employers," she said.
She said out of the 15 graduates, seven were able to secure themselves a job at a garment factory in Suva.
