WITH volunteers playing an important role in the country, the Fiji Council of Social Services is providing training to volunteers to further develop their skills.
The FCOSS-operated National Volunteer Centre has registered over 1200 members through its program in the Central and Western divisions.
According to the FCOSS' 2010-2011 annual report it registered 20 groups of volunteers and after training the volunteers were mobilised to give back to the community.
