CHALLENGER'S Tamavua Bulls is planning to exploit the tough Marist Blue defence in tomorrow's FBC challenge shield match in the Suva Volleyball Association (SVA) weekly club competition.

Marist Blue has convincingly retained the shield throughout the competition so far and looks the favourites to win it again this weekend.

But Tamavua Bulls coach/player Lote Raboila said they had the ability and few tricks up their sleeves to hand the high-flying holders their first defeat this season.

The side will have the services of Suva reps in Raboila, Joeli Pulu, Sanaila Tikoisuva, Jokini Love and Jone Fox.

"They have a good defensive pattern which we will need to break. If we succeed in this, we will have the advantage and can possibly beat them," Raboila said.

Tamavua Bulls last played Marist Blue in the knockout tournament where they narrowly lost in all the sets.

"We were on a bye last weekend so the fans can expect a new Tamavua Bulls side. We are going into this match very determined about our chances and we hope to utilise the opportunities we will get to win this challenge," Raboila said.

SVA technical adviser Iliesa Raketekete said the Tamavua Bulls had the services of some top hitters, adding the challenge match would be a thriller.

Meanwhile, men's second last round of games will be played tomorrow to determine the fixtures for the final rounds.

Raketekete said they would also have the second round of women's club competition at the LICI Multipurpose courts in Laucala.
