NO WORKER of the Naviti Resort will be sent home as a result of yesterday's fire.
"Nobody is going to lose their job," resort executive director Tammie Tam assured staff yesterday.
"We will allocate them to do other work while the NFA (National Fire Authority) carries out its investigation," Ms Tam said.
For now, she said they would await results of the authority's investigation, and the insurance company's assessment report before they involve their engineers in the rebuilding stage.
"Everybody is hopeful that the hotel will be restored soon," Ms Tam said.
Last night, workers had erected tents under which they kept furniture they had saved from the inferno.
