ORGANISERS of the annual Adi Salusalu Carnival netball tournament expect top netball action when the two-day event starts in Lautoka tomorrow.

The tournament will be held at the multi-purpose courts in Lautoka and organisers have put together attractive prizes for the winning teams.

Tournament official Lo Raevuevu said response had been slow and urged teams to make an effort to register early to avoid disappointment.

Raevuevu called on teams from the various tikina in the Ba province to also make an effort to form teams and take part in the tournament.

"We urge the various tikina in the province of Ba to form their teams and come and participate in the tournament," Raevuevu said.

"This tournament is organised for the province of Ba and we expect teams from within the province to take part.

"But we will allow registration to continue until tomorrow morning (11am) before we make the draws for the tournament," Raevuevu said.

The tournament will start tomorrow afternoon.

Raevuevu said they would only take the first 48 teams that pay their registration fees. The two-day tournament will conclude with the finals on Saturday.

Raevuevu said attractive prizes would be given to the winning team, runner-up and the two losing semi-finalists.

Raevuevu said for teams that want to participate can contact her on 6252460, 9368498 or Kelera at the Ba Provincial office before 11am tomorrow morning.
