FIJI netball under-21 team manager Della Shaw has asked players to come prepared for the fitness test which will be held in two weeks time.
The national players are preparing on their own following the training program given by the coach Moape Vu after their selection last month.
Shaw said they would retain only those players who would pass the fitness test mid of next month. She said the commitment of the players was important for the team to perform well at the World Youth Championship in Scotland next year.
"We have a group of players who couldn't make the team and are part of the franchise competition for next year," Shaw said.
"If any of the players in the national squad fails the fitness test then we will replace her with someone from this group."
Shaw said the inclusion of several Fiji U21 players in the national (senior) training squad had boosted their campaign.
Ilisapeci Cama, Afa Rusivakula, Mere Serea, Taufa Taga, Unaisi Dilario, Seini Vunibaka, Ana Rusivakula, Sala Tagilala, Raijieli Daveua and Bulou Masivou have been included in the national training squad for the 2012/13 season.
"We are hoping the players produce positive results in the fitness test as it will show their commitment to represent the country at the championship," Shaw said.
