The province of Nadroga and Navosa gathered at the Sigatoka Village grounds earlier this month for the Adi Nadroga/Navosa Festival.
The two-day event raised $408,244.95 beating last year's record of more than $350,000 which was used to fund educational needs for tertiary students, investments and other projects.
Provincial assistant chairman Ilikimi Kunagogo said their target this year was $270,000 but they were surprised when it was announced that the amount collected was over $400,000.
