AN elderly man died in a bus heading to Suva yesterday.
The man, who is believed to be in his 80s, was in the bus from Nadonumai in Lami to the Capital City.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the man was found by the driver of the bus when he pulled in at the Suva Bus Stand.
"The bus driver noticed that the man had not moved and stood up to check on him," she said.
"When he got close to the man, he noticed that the man was unresponsive so he contacted the police at the Market Police Post."
Ms Naisoro said the man's body was at Colonial War Memorial Hospital and the cause of death was yet to be known.
