SERIOUS concerns have been raised on steel being removed and stolen from culverts.
Fiji Roads Authority manager change Mike Rudge confirmed yesterday that with thieves now targeting these culverts, its implications could be devastating.
Mr Rudge said they were aware that thieves were targeting the steel from the culverts but the issue came to light following a case in Ra last week.
Mr Rudge said the alleged theft occurred at night.
