NAVUA will be represented by Kwichshift League and Barbarians at the zonal play-offs of the Kriz Signs National Club Championship next weekend.
League, run by former Navua rep Nasir Hussein, boasts some district reps like Siga Ali, Seveci Rokotakala, Inia Boko, Inoke O'Conner, Sheik Moshin and former Navua and Fiji age-group rep Ismail Shaheem.
Barbarians will be led by Navua's IDC 2012 skipper Jesoni Takala. The Navua Football Association finished its league season at the weekend.
Tomorrow, the association has called for a special meeting to plan the 2012/2013 season. Pravin Chand, the man behind Navua's revival of late, had a meeting with Navua football executives, including president Gopal Naidu on Sunday. Chand, the Navua team director at the IDC, said it was important to map out plans for the new season and have a competitive side given the national league starts in December.
"I need all Navua fans and officials to put aside their differences, if any, and work together for the new soccer season," Chand said.
"A small community like Navua, where there is not much happening for entertainment, soccer often brings smiles and happiness on the faces of the people. Let's keep it that way."
The meeting will be held the Vashist Muni Primary School starting at 7pm.
