MORE than 6000 students around the country will have their intellect tested as they attempt the Fiji Seventh Form Examination over the next two weeks.
Permanent secretary for Education Dr Brij Lal yesterday confirmed that 6600 students were registered for the exams in 154 exam centres.
This is an increase from last year when 5967 sat at 121 centres. Dr Lal said the Education Ministry had not set itself a pass rate for this year and just wanted all the students to do their best.
The exam is used to gain entry into tertiary institutions and for the purpose of awarding scholarships.
