NEW Zealand-based Flying Fijians halfback Nemia Kenatale has been ruled out of next month's tour to Europe because of injury.
This was confirmed by team manager Aseri Rokoura yesterday.
Rokoura said Kenatale was still injured and would not be able to travel with the Flying Fijians.
"Yes, I can confirm that Nemia will not be part of the tour party but we have yet to name his replacement," Rokoura said.
"What we will do is just get his replacement from our non-travelling reserves.
"With Kenatale out we still have two specialist halfbacks in Nikola Matawalu and Kelemedi Bola for the tour."
Kenatale, Matawalu and Bola were all part of the Flying Fijians 2012 Pacific Nations Cup team.
Yesterday afternoon Rokoura met local-based players at the Fiji Rugby Union office before they moved back into camp at the Naval Base in Togalevu for the last phase of preparations for the upcoming tour.
Rokoura said all players local and overseas were expected in camp last night.
"Japan-based Api Naikatini arrived in the country on Friday and the other overseas-based players are all in except for Tuapate Talemaitoga who is expected to arrive tonight (last night) or early tomorrow (today) morning."
Rokoura said the team would continue with their preparations under the watchful eyes of coach Inoke Male and his assistants today and tomorrow in Suva.
The team will present its itatau to the President of Fiji, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau on Wednesday.
"On Wednesday morning we will present our itatau to the President before we have our farewell church service at the Butt Street Wesley Church," Rokoura said.
The Flying Fijians open their Europe tour with the Test against England on November 10 before playing Gloucester on November 13, Ireland A on November 17 and Georgia on November 24.
