The powerful Samabula side is one of the favourites to make the quarter-finals of the Suva Football Association weekly competition next month.
Samabula leads Pool 2 and competition chairman Niranjan Prasad said they were likely to make it to the quarter-finals.
Yesterday, Samabula went down to USP 2-0 in the opening game before they were held 1-1 by North Pole in the feature match of the day at Albert Park ground one.
Samabula and North Pole had a number of Suva reps from its winning IDC team.
North Pole fielded Emori Ragata in goal, Samu Kautoga, Simione Maikali, and Nathan Shivam while Samabula had Isoa Damudamu, Joshua Wilson, Joseph Mishra, Cedric Dutt and deadly striker Issa Sanni.
Sanni scored the opening goal when he found space inside the North Pole box and fired home, beating Ragata to lead 1-0.
A drop in concentration by the Samabula defence saw Shivam running away to score the equaliser. The score was 1-1 at half-time.
