LAST season's finalists, Browning Bombers and Raiwaqa Flyers will meet in the semi-finals of the Mixed grade next weekend in the Fiji Touch Association season two competition of the year.

Last season, the Flyers won the grade and this season, the Bombers have their shot at revenge.

In the playoff's yesterday at Furnival Park in Toorak, Suva, Flyers beat Super Touch 12-6 while First Touch edged Barbarians 5-4.

In the second semi-final, Roosters will meet First Touch.

Meanwhile, in the Men's Super Premier quarter-final, the Bombers won by default over Kanavi Blues, the Roosters upset Flamingos 3-2, First Touch beat Super Touch 6-5 and the Flyers thrashed Barbarians 8-2.

FTA president Georgina Lasaqa said Bombers would face the Roosters in the semi-finals while the Flyers take on First Touch.

"We may see a repeat of last season's final, where Bombers faced Flyers and Flyers won the final," she said.

"For that to happen the Bombers will need to beat Roosters and Flyers will have to beat First Touch next weekend."

She said yesterday's competition was the best in recent weeks as the weather was on their side.

"For the past couple of weeks, it rained on our competition day but today (yesterday) it was sunny and this brought out the best in the teams."
