PRE-DIWALI sales, trade exposition and a seven-a-side rugby tournament featuring about 40 teams will be among the highlights of the Ba Province's Adi Salusalu Festival, which starts today.
Organised by a committee from the Ba Provincial Council and sponsored by Digicel, this year's event has taken an integrated approach with invitations sent out to businesses and corporate bodies in the Western Division as opposed to strictly confining to participants within the province.
A highlight of the festival is a fundraising that will see raffle tickets sold to raise about $500,000 for provincial developments. The council oversees the administration of 21 districts in the Ba Province. The festival ends on November 3.
