JUST a day before the national public holiday, Fiji Day, the Leadership Fiji 2012 (LF2012) group added another reason for celebrations at St John Association Fiji's headquarters in Toorak, Suva.
Receiving the handover of the project from LF2012 were Emma Bovoro, the general secretary, and St John Association (SJA) Fiji officials.
According to a statement, for about a month of continuing preparation and maintenance, LF2012 successfully completed the renovation needs for the SJA Fiji's training hall as part of their community work drive this year.
"The newly painted hall with fresh look curtains, inclusive of training materials and furniture, generated a sense of mingled satisfaction and delight during the handover presentation," said the statement.
In expressing the association's gratitude, Mrs Bovoro said the renovated hall would provide a more conducive training environment.
The renovation was a timely gesture by LF2012 for the association, which provided first aid training and services to thousands of citizens from all walks of life since its inception.
Given the significance of SJA Fiji's services to society, LF2012 will continue to undertake further upgrading of its facilities in the coming years," the statement said.
