POLICE investigations continue into the case of an 18-year-old who went missing from her home in Labasa on August 30 and was found in Nadi this week.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed the young woman was found in Nadi and returned to her home by the police.
"A police search had been ongoing for the missing girl around Vanua Levu with no success until police received information last week that the girl was seen in Nadi," said Ms Naisoro.
"She has been escorted to Labasa by police and returned to her parents while police continue investigations.
"A man who was alleged to have eloped with the girl is still in Labasa."
Ms Naisoro said they would question the girl to determine how she ended up in the Western Division.
