THE Davetalevu rugby club from Nadroga will be leaving tomorrow morning bound for Asia.
The club which has been sending teams to Asian countries for the last 10 years will be taking part in two sevens and one tens tournaments in the next three weeks.
Club president Jone Ratu said last year they only took part in the Singapore Sevens tourney.
"This Saturday they will take part in the 7s tournament in Borneo and after that they will fly to Singapore for yet another 7s tourney before taking part in the Cobra 10s tournament the following week," said Ratu.
He said the team was dominated by Nadroga players and three from the Davetalevu club.
Also in the squad are Ulaiasi Lawavou, Apisalome Waqatabu and Samisoni Viriviri who were part of the Fiji 7s team that won the Gold Coast 7s last week.
"We have chosen Paula Biu and Esala Nauga to lead the team and have faith in the players to bring victory," said Ratu.
