Police have started investigations into a sexual-related offence at a school in Vanua Levu.
Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri confirmed this, saying they received a report yesterday.
"The case was brought to our attention yesterday and officers are attending to it," he said.
"Right now an investigation is continuing and we will be able to release information once we gather all relevant information." Inspector Sokomuri said the investigation would also determine the kind of sexual act involved.
At the same time, acting Northern police commander SSP Fulori Rainibogi confirmed they would soon determine the charges against a 36-year-old man who allegedly produced pornographic pictures in Labasa two weeks ago.
"Our technicians are working on unlocking the mobile phone that contained the pictures and once they get it, we will be able to ascertain the charges," SSP Rainibogi said.
