Fiji does not have enough kindergartens, says Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

Hence, government will invest more in education, continue to support teachers and build stronger partnerships with schools so that the receipt of knowledge and skills could be promoted.

Cdre Bainimarama made the statement while opening the $75,000 St Agnes School Kindergarten in Nabua on Saturday.

"I firmly believe that better education is the key to building a better future for our country. It is one of my government's main priorities," he said.

With more than 60 children anticipated to attend the kindergarten, Cdre Bainimarama said the knowledge these children would develop in kindergarten would give them a better start in primary school and in their entire education.
