A WOMAN who sustained cuts to her body in an attack at Vunivau in Labasa last month has recovered.
Acting Divisional Police Commander Northern Senior Superintendent of Police Fulori Rainibogi confirmed the 23-year-old woman was in a satisfactory condition.
"The victim is recovering slowly at the Labasa Hospital and right now, we are just waiting for the right time to interview her on the incident," she said.
"We will wait until she has fully recovered before we can interview her."
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old accused, who is an American citizen, has been charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
He is still in police custody.
