THE sudden heavy down-pour forced the Lautoka players and officials to abandon their camp at Govind Park for a short while after the roof began leaking. Lautoka is one of the four teams that have been given the changing rooms at Govind Park as accommodation. While the players found it amusing coach Sere Nalulu said being housed in a change room with leaking rooms was a major concern. The other teams camping in the change rooms are Suva, Tavua and Ba.

Cheers

THE teams participating in the tournament provided the entertainment during day two yesterday. There was a lot of cheer for Labasa, the lone side from the Northern Division.

Ball boys

THE ball boys were present for day two of the competition after there weren't any in the opening round on Friday. However, they went missing a soon as it rained during the Rewa versus Nadroga match, leaving the players to retrieve the ball themselves.
