Police teams to do battle

THE Police One women's volleyball team is optimistic of defending its challenge title this afternoon against Police Two in the Security Forces Volleyball Association club competition at the Immigration Department car park.

Last week, Police One edged Corrections and also beat Army in its first title defence a fortnight ago. Laced with seasoned volleyball player Teresia Vocevoce, Police is using its weekly games as a build up to the Sukuna Bowl Challenge.

SFVA official Viliame Waqavuka said it would be an interesting battle between the two Police teams.

Waqavuka said in the men's challenge, Army Two would face a tough encounter from Immigration One.

The women's competition starts at 2.50pm while the Immigration One and Army Two challenge match is at 11.40am.
