CRICKET Fiji's Elite Player League has been extended till November because of three rained out rounds.

Only one round of games was played when the league started last month.

Since then rain on match day for the consecutive three weeks has forced the organisers to extend the league.

Cricket Fiji chief executive officer Sonny Henderson said the league would end on November 10.

He said round two competition would be played tomorrow.

In the competition so far, he said some players had showed signs of an exciting finish to the competition.

"Joji Bulabalavu of Mobimedia made 89 not out, Jikoi Kida of Novotel made 50, Jack Smith also of Novotel bowling figures of 3 for 21, Rukesh Patel of HMT not out 39, Viliame Yabaki of Sportsworld with bowling figures of 3 for 12," Henderson said.

Meanwhile, Henderson and Cricket Fiji development officer Jo Rika recently returned from a three-week placement program with Cricket Wellington in New Zealand.

Rika, the national team captain, then went to Brisbane to attend an ICC East Asia Pacific High Performance camp.
