THE University of the South Pacific Islanders Volleyball Association (USPIVA) will play its weekly club games at the National Netball Centre in Laucala Bay, Suva.

The move had to be made as their usual venue, the USP Indoors Gym, is being renovated.

Association secretary Mereaia Belo said their competition started at the end of last month and they had played only a few rounds.

She said they had to postpone last week's games because they had not made arrangements for an alternate venue.

"USP is renovating the indoors gym as they will have their council meeting at the venue at the end of the month," Belo said.

"So we have had to find a new venue and we have decided to play the games at the National Netball Centre from tomorrow (today)," she said.

"But luckily, USP is paying for the venue so all we just need to do is go there and play."

Belo said they would play one round today and the remaining rounds would be played tomorrow.

She had advised teams to be at the National Netball Centre before 5pm as games will start at 5pm and end 9pm.
