FOUR inmates saw their attempted escape from the Suva Corrections Centre on Tuesday thwarted.
The four had attempted to escape the Suva Corrections Facility on Tuesday morning.
However, alarms at the facility alerted the guards.
Fiji Corrections Service spokeswoman Ana Tamani confirmed there was an escape attempt.
However, she didn't reveal further details.
"Yes, there was an attempt but it was unsuccessful," Mrs Tamani said.
