LAUTOKA Golf Club president Vijay Ram tasted victory once again, winning the overall net prize after a fruitless season.
Ram scored a net of 69 to take once again stamp his claim at the golf link during the Tobin Electrical Components sponsored event over the weekend.
And inform LGC vice-captain Surren Pillay won the overall gross on 72.
Raymond Singh returned to claim the A-grade division on 70, followed closely my youngster Michael Nair and Manual Ajay on 72 and 73 respectively.
Umen Reddy won the B-grade title on 71 edging Gaffar Ali on 72 and Jason Kumar, 73.
New comer Subash Chand claimed top spot in C-grade followed closely by Shelvin Kumar and Rohitesh Naidu.
Former LGC member Pravin Ram who now resides in Auckland, New Zealand won the visitors category on 69. Nair hit the longest drive while Manual Ajay and Prem Chand collecting the nearest to pin prizes.
Twelve year old Central College Primary student, Shamal Ram won the Juniors category on 70.
LGC club trustee Raymond Singh said the tournament ended on a high note. He said it was an enjoyable moment for the golfers where Vijay Ram once again returned to his winning ways, claiming the overall net prize.
