Suva soccer coach Gurjeet Singh advised his players to stick together and continue their winning run next year.
He made the comment after Suva was declared the 2012 Inter-District Championship winners at the Fiji Football Association headquarters in Vatuwaqa, Suva, yesterday.
Singh, a renowned coach in Fiji who has helped many districts win the major titles, helped Suva win the Fiji FACT title earlier this year.
The IDC win is his second win with Suva. He also helped the capital side finish second in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League competition.
He said the players in the Suva team had become close and the players know each other well and they could use that to win more titles.
"I would like the players of this team to stick together and continue their good work," Singh said.
"This is because they are a unit now and the close they come to each other the better they work as a unit," he said.
"If we continue to work together we can do much better next year and win more titles."
Singh said if a member of the team were to leave, the unit would not function properly.
"Its like a machine, if you take out a part, the machine will not work properly so this team has become a unit and players can help each other out."
